Kim Kardashian spoke candidly about her loneliness and her “toxic” marriage with rapper Kanye West during an appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast, as reported by Daily Mail.

The 44-year-old SKIMS founder revealed her heart is “free” now, explaining that she simply doesn’t have time for a relationship. She admitted that in the past, her attempts at dating were complicated—many men were reportedly intimidated by her ex-husband’s temper. One of them, comedian Pete Davidson, faced public ridicule from West.
‘When someone has like their first mental break, you want to be super supportive and you want to help figure that out and be there for them,’ she explained.
‘But when someone isn’t willing to make changes that I think would’ve been super healthy and beneficial. It makes it really hard to continue on in a relationship that can be toxic.’
“I just didn’t feel safe, you know—not physically, but maybe emotionally or even financially,” Kardashian said. “I would come home, and we’d have five Lamborghinis. Then I’d return one day, and they’d be gone because he got into an accident or decided to give them away. I’d ask, ‘Wait, where are all our cars?’ And he’d say, ‘Oh, I gave them to my friends.’”
She said that during her marriage, her own mental health began to suffer.
“I had to save myself—to be the best mom I could be for my kids,” she added.
According to Kardashian, West hasn’t visited or contacted their children for several months. Meanwhile, he has accused her on social media of keeping their four children away from him, even claiming she had “kidnapped” them.
“This isn’t kidnapping—it’s divorce,” Kardashian said firmly.
Kanye West and Kim Kardashian share four children: North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm. The couple finalized their divorce in November 2022.
